How it works

The Argo SafeBox platform allows users to anonymously submit reports through a dedicated link. The body designated to receive the reports can access and manage them remotely via a dedicated virtual space.

Security

The Argo SafeBox platform is based on the open-source framework GlobaLeaks by Transparency International.
GlobaLeaks is compliant with ISO 37002, EU Directive 2019/1937 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

GDPR Compliant

Argo SafeBox adheres to GDPR principles and requirements. We can support your company in conducting the Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA), which is mandatory when implementing a whistleblowing system.

EU-Based Hosting

Argo SafeBox is hosted on cloud servers provided by Hetzner, located in Germany and Finland. Your company’s DPO can rest assured: by adopting SafeBox, all data will remain within the European Union. Hetzner Online GmbH is ISO 27001 certified.

SafeBox Configuration

Argo SafeBox is a cloud platform that requires no installation on company devices or servers. During the configuration phase, the reporting page can be customized with the company’s logo and specific instructions provided to whistleblowers. The company will provide Argo with the email address(es) of the members of the designated receiving body, so they can receive instructions for activating their accounts.

Argo’s consultants offer training tailored to various company roles:

  • CEO and management: to better understand whistleblowing regulations and evaluate their impact on the business;
  • Receiving body: to learn how to manage reports in compliance with legal requirements;
  • Entire organization: to raise awareness on when and how to use the reporting channels.
